# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It takes ten minutes but tastes like you planned something intentional.
  • The contrast between creamy, crunchy, and juicy makes every spoonful feel different.
  • You can prep it the night before and wake up to something ready to eat.
02 -
  • Pat your berries completely dry before layering, or excess moisture will make the granola soggy within minutes.
  • If you're using frozen berries, thaw them and drain them well—they release so much liquid that it'll turn your whole parfait into soup.
  • The layers stay beautiful if you assemble no more than 2 hours ahead; after that, everything starts blending together.
03 -
  • Assemble parfaits in clear glasses or jars even if you're eating alone—you eat with your eyes first, and the layers make it feel special.
  • If you're prepping for a crowd, use a sheet pan to organize all your ingredients in little bowls beforehand so assembly becomes a quick, meditative process.
